VirtuHear is a family-owned hearing aid center in the borough of West Chester. We work with primary care physicians, ENT practices, and internal medicine offices to evaluate and support patients with hearing concerns. Our licensed hearing instrument specialists keep the referring office informed.
Why refer patients for a hearing evaluation
Hearing loss often develops gradually, and many patients do not recognize it or raise it during a visit. Untreated hearing loss can affect communication, safety, social engagement, and a patient's ability to follow care instructions. Routine hearing screening for older adults, and a referral when a patient or family member reports difficulty hearing, helps identify concerns early and gives patients a clear next step.
What we provide
- Comprehensive hearing evaluation (free) by a licensed hearing instrument specialist.
- Cerumen check. When removal is needed, we refer the patient back to your office.
- Hearing benefits check (free). We are in-network with many insurance plans and review coverage with the patient.
- Hearing aid fitting and follow-up with Signia, Phonak, Oticon, and Unitron devices.
- Hearing aid repairs, typically completed in about one week.
- In-home visits available by arrangement for patients who have difficulty traveling.
