Hearing Aids in West Goshen and Westtown, PA

West Goshen and Westtown Townships sit right alongside the borough of West Chester, so our downtown office is close to home for many residents of both townships. VirtuHear is a family-owned practice with a single office at 103 S High Street, Suite #1, in downtown West Chester. We do not have a separate location in either township, but for most residents the trip downtown is a short one on familiar roads.

Care is provided by licensed hearing instrument specialists. Our approach is measured: we test first, explain the results clearly, and only then discuss whether hearing aids are appropriate.

Driving to 103 S High Street from West Goshen and Westtown

Our office is on South High Street, a short distance south of Market Street in the center of the borough. Depending on where you start, the drive is generally about 2 to 5 miles. Common routes include:

  • From the Paoli Pike and West Chester Pike corridor in West Goshen: Head west on Paoli Pike or West Chester Pike (PA-3). Both roads become East Gay Street as they enter the borough. Gay Street is one-way westbound; turn left onto High Street and continue south past Market Street to 103 S High Street.
  • From northern Westtown near West Chester Pike: Follow West Chester Pike (PA-3) west. It becomes East Gay Street at the borough line; turn left onto High Street and continue south past Market Street.
  • From central Westtown along Westtown Road: Take Westtown Road north toward the borough, then follow East Nields Street and Lacey Street to South High Street. Turn right and head north toward the center of the borough.
  • From southern Westtown and the Street Road area: Take Street Road (PA-926) to Wilmington Pike (US-202/US-322) and turn north. Wilmington Pike continues directly into South High Street, which passes the West Chester University campus before reaching our office.

What the Free Hearing Evaluation Includes

The comprehensive hearing evaluation is free, takes about an hour, and does not require a referral. It typically includes:

  • A conversation about your hearing concerns, health history and the listening situations that matter most to you
  • A visual check of the ear canals, including a check for earwax
  • Hearing testing to measure how you hear different pitches and how well you understand speech
  • A plain-language review of your results and your options

VirtuHear does not remove earwax. If we see a buildup or anything else that needs attention, we explain what we found and refer you to an appropriate provider. You can read more about how our hearing test works.

Hearing Aids and Ongoing Care

We fit hearing aids from Signia, Phonak, Oticon and Unitron, so recommendations can follow your test results and daily routine rather than a single manufacturer. Even the smallest styles, such as the Signia Silk, come in rechargeable versions. We also offer tinnitus management and hearing aid repairs, which typically take about one week.

Free Hearing Benefits Check

VirtuHear is in-network with many insurance plans. Because hearing benefits vary widely from plan to plan, we offer a free hearing benefits check so you know what your plan may provide before making any decisions. Start with our hearing benefits check or call the office.

VirtuHear holds a 5.0-star rating from about 140 Google reviews.
